DISS - Document Inspection Sorting System

Otto Künnecke developed a modular system to monitor the manufacturing, printing and personalisation of governmental documents, such as birth certificates, vehicle registrations and visas. The DISS controls the security elements of the printed documents on the front and reverse sides in an automatic process.

It also selectively collects groups of documents for distribution to various locations. The data from each individual document is sent to a database in order to provide a secure audit trail for the dispatch of personalised documents to local offices.

Various additional modules like labelling or ink-jet printing can be added to the Document Inspection Sorting System. The DISS is the perfect solution for a high demand for secure and automatic quality control and packaging of high secure products.
