With a similar task to the CISS the EISS has been designed to solve the labourious task of checking an envelope has the correct inserts and sorting them into predefined groups.
A typical job for the EISS would be to check the details from the envelopes window, then check the database for required inserts. It can verify this by checking the weight of the envelope. Any mailings that are not complete, can be marked and sent to a seperate conveyor to be manually fulfilled. It is also possible to personalise any envelope, such as printing a 2D barcode on envelopes that pass inspection, ready to be dispatched. An alternative delivery option is a module that can automatically fill several boxes with the sorted envelopes, and once full, change the box for an empty one on the fly, before labelling each box with the envelope details.
