CISS Sorting from a rainbow deck...

If you cannot see this video, try using Google Chrome as your browser. Other browsers don't always work. Or, try allowing your browser to play Active Content.

This video shows a CISS sorting system built for a bank which personalises cards centrally, by card type, and then needs to sort them for branches. Hence this CISS features one input hopper and many output hoppers.

The application shown in the video uses coloured cards for simplicity. The workflow is as follows:

    - The data file for the job is loaded over the network. The operator loads the job.
    - The operator can allocate each colour of card (red, blue, yellow, green) to a different output hopper in the GUI.
    - A mixed rainbow deck of cards is loaded into the input hopper.
    - The cards are separated and fed out of the input hopper.
    - The magstripe is read and the data in the stripe tells the system the colour of the card.
    - The system delivers the card into the appropriate output hopper.
