UFE

This is our third year exhibiting at London's Security Document World conference. If you haven't already made your mind up about the relevance of this exhibition to your business, we have hand-picked a few of the more interesting topics that will be discussed this year (including of course, our very own Ronald Düe of Otto Künnecke):

  • Introduction of the German ID card (Ministry of the German interior)

  • Introduction of the new UK passport (IPS)

    Last year we used SDW to increase the profile of the ID and PIN systems that Otto Künnecke offer. We can report that this was a resounding success and one month later UFE secured orders for systems to automate a production process for the new UK passport.

    Security Document products

    PPS - passport packaging system - but not just for passports! An automatic system to verify ID documents, print a letter based on the information and insert with enclosures into envelopes. Additional functions for registered mail can be integrated.

    Variations of the PPS include the PPS-M (mailing), PPS-V (Verification), PPS-S (Sorting) and PPS-P (Packaging). The sorting and packaging systems are designed for applications where documents need to be sent to branch offices.

    PHS - PIN handling system. Kuennecke manufactures modular and secure solutions for the dispatch of PIN mailings. These systems are installed in banks and financial institutions worldwide.

    MIS - multiple channel inserting systems with folding, nesting, verification and post processing including franking, labelling, personalisation, marking and sorting.

    EISS - envelope inspection and sorting system to optimise, verify, print and sort daily mailing production.

    PAS - label application system to apply security labels over PIN numbers and other sensitive information.
