And we've got some new products!
With the addition of the CPST product line, we thought the time was right to update the company name. We continue to be the exclusive UK distributors for Datacard Ga-Vehren systems but have also been awarded the Datacard CPST card personalisation product range including the Drop on Demand inkjet system.
Our new company name is Unique Finishing Equipment Ltd. We will start operating under the new name from April 12th.
Having spent the last eight years building the Ga-Vehren brand in the UK, I'll be sad to see the name go but I don't suppose I'll miss having to spell it ten times a day! Our new name better reflects what we do and will be less confusing when promoting Pack-Smart and CPST products. It will also make it much easier to add complementary product lines in the future.

Medprint, Rome, April 19-22

There will be a Datacard Ga-Vehren GV300 Attaching System (formerly known as a Ga-Vehren 912) at the Medprint Exhibition in Rome later this month.
Medprint is a print exhibition aimed mainly at those in the Mediterranean region. You can find more information at http://www.medprint.it/en
The GV300 will have a DOD inkjet system and the new magnetic stripe Encoding Feeder. It will be running a plastic card personalisation and affixing application; reading a barcode on the carrier, encoding the magstripe on the card, feeding and affixing the card, DOD imaging the card with information from the database and then folding the carrier.
